The BALCO case against Barry Bonds, which has been pressing on for the better part of 2 years, is now taking a turn and focusing on Greg Anderson’s wife - Nicole Gestas. 

Greg Anderson spent a little over a year rotting in prison not ratting out his friend and client.  Federal prosecutors upon inditing Bonds had to let Anderson out of prison and almost immediately the government turned its attention to Anderson’s wife as a way to get him to talk.  Doesn’t this seem extreme?
