Iran Missile Testing Provides Voting Public Two Options: The Obama Option or The McCain Option
Having trouble deciding between a charismatic flip flopper with little to no experience or a grumpy old man, with a lot of experience and a decent amount of his own flip flops? Well the beauty of politics is that there are always a few issues or problems that come along and divide the candidates. Iran’s recent missile testing is one of them.

“Senator Obama said Iran “must suffer threats of economic sanctions with direct diplomacy opening up channels of communication so we avoid provocation, but we give strong incentives for the Iranians to change their behavior. Part of the problem that we’ve got right now is that we’ve been basically farming out the diplomatic activity to the Europeans. We’ve got to be actively engaged, Obama said.”

“Senator McCain issued a statement following the tests implicitly criticizing Obama’s engagement strategy, which Republicans argue is naive and dangerous. “Working with our European and regional allies is the best way to meet the threat posed by Iran, not unilateral concessions that undermine multilateral diplomacy,” McCain said. “Iran’s most recent missile tests demonstrate again the dangers it poses to its neighbors and to the wider region, especially Israel,” McCain said. “Ballistic missile testing coupled with Iran’s continued refusal to cease its nuclear activities should unite the international community in efforts to counter Iran’s dangerous ambitions.”
You make the call. Personally I don’t trust Iran farther then I can throw them but with my bad back I shouldn’t be throwing anybody let alone a country the size of Iran.

Democrats have an inability to utilize common sense. Sure, it sucks that poor people are poor. Yes, in an ideal world there would be equality for all and everyone would be middle class. But unfortunately, governments (both Democratic and, recently, Republican) are horrible allocators of capital. Do you really think economic sanctions and asking Iran “pretty please, stop hating everyone” is going to work? Do people really forget what happened when Bill Clinton appeased North Korea in the 1990s? Do you honestly think this will be any different?
