CNNSI’s FanNation just reported that the Diamondbacks, who are in a tight race with the Dodgers, in the widly pathetic National League West Division, are looking at signing Barry Bonds.

The Diamondback are in sore need of left handed hitting and an excuse to get fans out to games in 100 plus degree heat. Or is Barry headed to Boston?  Does Theo Epstein have the marbles now that Big Papi is hurt? That sweep from the D-Rays hurt especially given the fact that the Yankees just swept the Rays.  Ah the plot thickens.
