Waaaaaah I’m An Atheist Nobody Likes Me

Soldier Sues Army, Saying His Atheism Led to Threats. Seriously? Really? This man is not a soldier.  No soldier would take a gripe this petty to court.  Why not just kick him out?  Can’t he leave?  Isn’t this a volunteer army? By the way nice picture DB.  When did the Army start becoming an Atheist GQ?

Soldier Says His Atheism Led to Threats

Bottom line If he’s not capable of defending himself against such personal disagreements or is so faint of heart that these alleged words, not orders, words push him to run into a court room and seek justice what will happen when and if he’s on the front lines and somebody is yelling orders or god, (opps I mean Darwin), forbid they cuss at him? Is he going to ask them to be polite?

It makes you wonder how he got through boot camp.  And you have to wonder how amusing stories like this must look to other countries military cores like Iran or China.  As far as I know everybody is treated like sh*t in the Army.  Not just an Atheist.  I wonder how tall this guy is? Pretty sure they don’t stack sh*t that high.

Something tells me you have never served in the military.

1. No, he can’t just leave. That’s called “desertion.” You volunteer for a certain length of enlistment and are stationed at the government’s discretion.

2. It goes far beyond words, and I’m surprised anyone would consider a death threat something easily waved away, especially when the ones doing the threatening carry weapons.

Having served in the military, I can quite honestly say that the entire unit is dependent on each other, and were one person excluded and threatened to this extent, the best thing to do is try to transfer out of that unit.

No, everyone is not treated like sh*t in the army, and yes, they clearly DO stack sh*t that high, as your post is full of it.
